Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and cook menu items with consistency and efficiency
* Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control
* Supervise and coordinate kitchen operations during service
* Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations are followed
* Train and support junior kitchen staff
* Assist in menu development and cost control
Candidate Requirements:
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a chef in a similar café or restaurant setting
* Strong understanding of Australian cuisine and contemporary food trends
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Reliable and committed to maintaining high standards
