Our programmes go beyond the basics, providing opportunities for growth, development and engagement through animal husbandry, carpentry & gardening groups, cooking groups, games, art and craft sessions, social events and community activities.

As a Disability Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to provide respectful and empowering personal care and daily living support, assist with community access, appointments and social engagement, follow individualised support plans and document progress notes, uphold practice standards, protocols and organisational policies, collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

* Support clients in engaging experiences such as animal husbandry, carpentry & gardening groups, cooking groups, games, art and craft sessions, social events and community activities
* Provide respectful and empowering personal care and daily living support
* Assist with community access, appointments and social engagement
* Follow individualised support plans and document progress notes
* Uphold practice standards, protocols and organisational policies
* Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

Key Responsibilities:

* Personal Care and Daily Living Support: Provide respectful and empowering personal care and daily living support to clients, ensuring their dignity and independence are maintained at all times.
* Community Access and Social Engagement: Assist clients with community access, appointments and social engagement, promoting their participation in meaningful activities and fostering relationships within the community.
* Individualised Support Plans: Develop and implement individualised support plans, working closely with clients and their families to understand their needs and goals.
* Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders, collaborating to ensure high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement.
