Our client, a well-established mining business in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, is in search of a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Administrator to support their ongoing mining projects. This exciting 12-month contract role offers an 8:6 roster, providing an excellent work-life balance in a dynamic and growing industry.
**About this role**
As a Project Administrator, you will be an essential part of the project construction team, responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of mining projects in the Pilbara region. Your administrative skills and attention to detail will be crucial to the success of the projects.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the project management team.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination of activities.
- Maintain project documentation, records, and filing systems.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members.
- Prepare and distribute project status reports and updates.
- Monitor project budgets, expenses, and cost tracking.
- Assist with procurement processes and vendor management.
- Arrange project meetings, prepare agendas, and take meeting minutes.
- Handle project-related queries and correspondence.
- Adhere to safety and compliance standards on the project site.
- Support project managers in various ad-hoc tasks and assignments.
**About you**
- Relevant administrative or project support experience in the mining or construction industry is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
