About the role:
You'll play a key role in keeping our financial processes running smoothly and ensuring compliance with trust account regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining accurate financial records in Xero and Actionstep
* Managing accounts payable and receivable
* Performing daily and monthly bank reconciliations
* Matter billing
* Reconciling statutory trust, office and controlled monies accounts
* Supporting compliance with Trust Account regulations
* Completing end of month and end of financial year procedures
About you:
* A minimum of 3 years experience in a legal bookkeeping or accounts administrator role
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
* Confidentiality and integrity across all aspects of the role
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Experience with statutory trust accounts and Actionstep (highly regarded, but not essential)
