Painter and Decorator – Residential & Commercial
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Painter and Decorator to join our growing team. If you take pride in your work, enjoy your trade, and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, sand, fill, prime, and patch surfaces
- Apply paints, stains, textures, and wallpaper using brush, roller, or spray
- Mix and match colours accurately
- Carry out minor repairs and surface restoration
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe, clean work environment
- Work independently and in teams on residential and commercial projects
- Collaborate with other trades to ensure efficient project delivery
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years’ proven painting and decorating experience
- Current ABN, GST registration, and own insurance
- White Card, driver’s licence, and reliable work vehicle
- Strong attention to detail, punctual, motivated, and good communication skills
- Physically fit for standing, bending, lifting, and working at heights
- Relevant trade qualifications or tickets are an advantage
