Studio Offerings and Syllabi:
We follow a diverse syllabus that includes Acrobatic Arts, ATOD, Dance Cirque, IDT, IASF Cheer and Discover Dance. This comprehensive approach ensures a well-rounded dance education that nurtures creativity and skill development in our students and we're always looking for more opportunities to expand and grow with our curriculum.
Performances, Community and Competition Opportunities:
Our student concerts showcase the culmination of our students' hard work and dedication. Additionally, we actively engage with the community by performing at local charities and community events, allowing our students to contribute positively beyond the studio walls.
We boast Enhancement Program (Competition) Teams that compete in both Newcastle and Sydney in both Cheer and Dance. These teams provide additional opportunities for dedicated students to refine their skills and showcase their talent on a competitive platform.

* A welcoming, nurturing demeanour with a genuine passion for teaching students of all ages.
* Extensive experience and qualifications across various styles including Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, AcroDance, Contemporary, Lyrical, Pom, Cheerleading, and Tumbling.
* Experience in competition coaching for Cheer and Dance is highly valued.
* Proficiency in building strong connections with students, families, and fellow teaching team members.
* Confidence and expertise in leading classes for children as young as 2 years old up to adult age groups.
* A solid understanding of early childhood development or a keen willingness to learn.
* Alignment with our mission, values, and teaching philosophies emphasising joy, acceptance, and inclusiveness.
* Experience in implementing syllabi and planning progressive class learning.
* A dedication to personal growth, continuous learning, and professional development.
* Reliability, professionalism, and accountability in all aspects of teaching.
* Comfort using online systems for administrative tasks.
* Possession of a current Working With Children Check, First Aid, and CPR certificates or the willingness to obtain them.
Position Overview:
As part of our vibrant team, you'll engage in teaching combination style classes for ages 2 years to adults. Creativity, enthusiasm, and the ability to connect with students and their families are essential qualities for success in this role.
Details:
* The schedule will align with our 2026 timetable and the candidate's qualifications.
* Hourly compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, following the Fitness Award guidelines including superannuation and other penalty rates.
* This role begins as a casual position, with potential opportunities for permanent or full-time roles within our MJDS company.
