At Commonwealth Bank, our Data Insights team provides management information, forecast analysis, business advice, and insight to our business partners. We're also responsible for maintaining a strong financial control framework.

Your Role
You will use data insights to drive business-focused report development and provide technical analysis/support to the Business Bank.
You'll play a key role in creating unique experiences for every individual interaction by applying data-driven segmentation, eligibility, and contact channel selection to ensure every customer touchpoint is highly relevant and compelling.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
* Liaising with stakeholders across various domains, from Data and Analytics to Segments, Product, Risk, and Technology.
* Solving complex problems and devising the most appropriate solution for each situation.
* Providing a sound understanding of Banking and Financial products.
* Creating analytical outcomes that can be automated/scheduled and meeting challenging deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Producing accurate work, reliable results, and meeting tight deadlines, while planning and prioritizing workflow.
We're Looking for People Who Have:
* Demonstrated experience working in roles involving data analysis, Insights, and Analytics or similar backgrounds.
* Experience in delivering projects using SQL tools, with Teradata SQL being preferred.
* A continuous drive to develop their skillset with learning new tools and methodologies.
* Knowledge of BI Tools, such as Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, or Power BI is advantageous.
* Demonstrated experience with other languages such as Python or SAS, or tools such as Alteryx is well regarded.
* Proactive, inquisitive, and driven self-starters who can take a brief and turn it into action.
* Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, including building and maintaining good networks.
* A strong attention to detail with a focus on manipulating data, accuracy of results, and data quality.
