Job Description Due to significant contract awards within our Water business, we are expanding our Water Infrastructure team in Melbourne.
The Water Infrastructure group provides services to a range of internal and external clients on projects covering water and wastewater treatment, dams, asset management, major conveyance, industrial, civil infrastructure, and defence sectors, with a key focus on supporting sustainable outcomes for our clients and the communities they serve.
By joining our team, you’ll be immersed in a strong, long‑term pipeline of work, handling complex, large‑scale and iconic projects across ANZ.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of water and wastewater conveyance infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, and network upgrades
Drive projects from concept through to delivery, from planning, detailed design, and construction support
Work with clients and multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, compliant design solutions
Review and oversee engineering outputs to ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment with standards
Mentor junior engineers and build strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders across projects
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualifications
Proven experience in water and wastewater conveyance design, including pipelines, pump stations, and hydraulic systems
Ability to lead or coordinate design packages, including managing deliverables and multidisciplinary interfaces
Experience working in a consulting environment, with clear communication skills and confidence in technical discussions
Proven capability to review and verify engineering outputs, ensuring alignment with relevant standards, codes, and project requirements
Ability to quickly build rapport with clients and various stakeholders
