The role
This is a newly created, pivotal role for a proven governance leader to lead governance risk and workplace health and safety.
Working three days a week in our Miami Beach office, you will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for:
Governance, Compliance and Risk (GCR)
Workplace Health and Safety
This is a practical leadership role with a clear mandate to ensure that Gold Coast Youth Service maintains compliance with legislative and accreditation standards, effectively manages risks, and supports/upholds the implementation of governance best practices.
Importantly, you will also collaborate with the Senior Leadership team to strengthen compliance and risk processes, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
About you
You will be a governance professional, with experience in implementing and communicating governance, risk and WH&S.
You will bring strong verbal and written communication skills, sound judgement and the ability to work with Counciliate teams.
You will hold qualifications in governance or risk or a related discipline with a solid understanding of contemporary governance and risk frameworks.
