**Role Overview**
As a Youth Support Worker in our Intensive Therapeutic Care team, you will provide support and care to young people with medium to high needs.
This role involves supervising, supporting, and providing trauma-informed care in our ITC settings, ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the young people in your care.
You will build caring relationships with the young people, promoting self-esteem, health, and life skills. This may involve transporting them to school and appointments, completing shift reports, and mandatory incident reports.
This is a diverse and impactful role that requires strong teamwork, self-regulation in stressful situations, mentoring abilities, and excellent communication skills.
We are looking for someone with a passion for working with children and young people who has a Cert IV in Youth Work or a relevant tertiary qualification. You should have at least 3 years of practical experience working in a community service setting.
A valid driver's licence and current Working With Children clearance through the Office of the Children's Guardian (NSW) are also required.
Salary Package:
We offer competitive pay from $36 to $38.60 per hour, plus casual loading and 11% superannuation.
