Clinical Educator - Exercise Physiology Position Overview
* A challenging and rewarding opportunity exists for an innovative Clinical Educator to join our Allied Health Education team on a permanent part-time basis.
About The Role
This role will focus on developing and coordinating best practice education opportunities to enhance the capabilities of the current and future Exercise Physiology workforce in the region.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Allied Health Education team to:
1. Identify learning and training needs of the Exercise Physiology department
2. Develop structured learning curricula to meet the needs of the current and future Exercise Physiology workforce
3. Undertake research and quality improvement processes to contribute to best practice allied health education across the region
4. Lead the education portfolio within the Exercise Physiology discipline
Key Responsibilities
The Exercise Physiology Clinical Educator will have responsibility for:
* Coordinating and delivering education programs and workshops
* Developing and maintaining educational resources and materials
* Assessing and reporting on learner performance and progress
* Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement best practice education initiatives
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must:
* Be registered as an Exercise Physiologist with ESSA and meet the Allied Health Credentialing requirements for Exercise Physiology
* Have experience in education delivery, preferably in a healthcare setting
* Hold or be working towards further qualifications in education
* Have experience in quality improvement projects and change management
* Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills
