The purpose of this role is to manage the operational and business direction of Perioperative Services, within the strategic direction of Epworth Richmond and Epworth Hawthorn Acute to ensure the efficient and effective use of human and financial resources in order to achieve positive clinical outcomes, exceptional customer service and growth of market share. This is a great opportunity to hold an active role within the Executive team at Epworth Richmond and focus on continuous improvement theatre growth, business development, risk management, building engaged teams and developing a culture of accountability.
You will make an impact by:
* Lead and develop high-performing perioperative teams across Epworth Richmond and Epworth Hawthorn;
* Drive theatre activity growth, operational efficiency and excellence in patient care;
* Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and patient-centred care;
* Oversee clinical governance, risk management, quality improvement projects and accreditation readiness;
* Manage significant budgets and resources to achieve strong clinical and financial outcomes; and
* Build strong relationships with surgeons, staff, and key stakeholders.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role…
* You will be a collaborative and inspiring healthcare leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments.
* Current registration as Registered Nurse with AHPRA;
* Postgraduate qualification in perioperative nursing and/or health care management;
* Significant leadership experience at a senior or executive level within an acute hospital;
* Proven expertise in clinical, financial, risk, and human resource management;
* Strong change management, strategic thinking, and business development skills;
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
