Advanced Scaffolder Job Description
As an Advanced Scaffolder, you will be responsible for erecting and dismantling complex scaffolding structures to support maintenance activities.
The role requires strong technical knowledge and expertise in constructing scaffolds according to specifications and safety standards. You must be able to interpret technical drawings and plans, as well as work with various types of scaffolding systems, including ring lock and tube & coupler systems.
A key aspect of this role is working at heights and in confined spaces, which requires a high level of physical fitness and agility. The successful applicant will have a minimum of 3 years' experience as an Advanced Scaffolder in a fast-paced environment, with experience in refineries and/or power stations preferred.
Additionally, the following skills and qualifications are required:
* Experience: At least 3 years as an Advanced Scaffolder in a fast-paced environment
* Refinery and/or Power Station Experience: Required
* Ring Lock System Experience: Desirable
* Working at Heights: Completed within 2 years
* Confined Spaces: Completed within 2 years
* High Risk Work Licence (SA): Required
* Construction Induction Card: White or blue card
* Driver's Licence: Required
