SAP Datasphere Data Migration Consultant
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement ETL pipelines within SAP Datasphere to seamlessly support the data migration lifecycle.
* Automate data extraction, utilizing Python scripts to pull data from external sources into the Datasphere pre‐stage layer.
* Cleanse, transform, and map legacy data within Datasphere, consolidating inconsistent source fields into unified master structures.
* Execute final data loads into SAP BTP HANA Cloud tables via native Datasphere integration features.
* Ensure data quality and reconciliation by conducting profiling, validating record counts, and performing technical post‐load comparisons.
* Contribute to technical design by defining robust pre‐staging, staging, and target load table structures within Datasphere.
Required Technical Skills and Experience
* Proven track record in data migration and ETL development, ideally within a complex SAP ecosystem.
* Deep technical expertise in SAP Datasphere, including hands‐on experience with replication, transformation, and data flows.
* Strong proficiency in SQL for advanced data querying, manipulation, and structural transformation.
* Practical Python scripting skills, specifically used for data extraction and integration with external platforms like Smartsheet.
* Solid understanding of data loading, storage, and querying concepts within SAP BTP HANA Cloud environments.
