Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Claims Coordinator to join our QLD Claims Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to start or continue their rewarding career in insurance building. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day customer service and administration in relation to property insurance claims.
You will be in regular contact with clients, internal staff members, and customers to keep them updated regarding their claims ensuring a seamless claims process.
* Process new claims, schedule estimators, and submit quotes
* Prepare and issue building contracts to customers
* Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls relating to claims
* Update notes to internal and client portals
* Prepare and provide documentation relating to the claim
* Issue purchase orders to specialist trades
* Approve incoming invoices from respective trades
* Scope/contract amendments for presentation purposes
