The opportunity
As an Investment Banking Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting and structuring a wide range of corporate transactions across the entire M&A product range including acquisitions, mergers, joint-ventures, and divestments.
Key responsibilities:
* Building, developing and maintaining complex financial models
* Analysing financial statements - preparing comprehensive financial analysis on clients and industry trends
* Coordinating due diligence processes
* Preparation and presentation of client materials
* Interact and converse effectively with senior stakeholders in the context of deal execution
* Proactively map deal opportunities for clients and develop close relationships
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
* 2 - 5 years' experience M&A transaction experience with another Investment Bank and/or Accounting Firm's M&A or Valuations team.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver high quality work with precision
* Genuine interest in financial markets and desire for professional development
* Motivation to work as a team player and contribute to a positive team culture
* Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines
