We're looking for a senior Enterprise Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping how technology supports the business. You will operate at an enterprise level, owning architecture governance, portfolio visibility, and maturity uplift across SAP and non‐SAP platforms. Leading a team of solution architects, guiding standards and decisions, and providing assurance to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
* Operate within and influence formal governance forums (Architecture Boards, Design Authorities, CABs, Working Groups)
* Ensure programs and projects align to enterprise standards, policies, and reference architectures
* Provide architectural assurance to senior stakeholders including IT leadership, cyber, risk, and portfolio committees
Portfolio & Demand Visibility
* Maintain visibility of initiatives and demand across global portfolios
* Help rationalise overlap across multiple PMOs and regional delivery models
Landscape & Capability Maturity
* Own and mature:
* Business capability models
* Reference architectures
* Reduce application sprawl and complexity over time
* Lift maturity where knowledge currently sits informally across teams
SAP in the Enterprise Context
* SAP is a critical part of the landscape but not the whole picture
* Ensure SAP (including S/4HANA) is positioned appropriately within the broader enterprise architecture
* Use tools such as Signavio and modelling platforms to connect SAP and non‐SAP processes end‐to‐end
What We're Looking For
* Senior experience in Enterprise or Platform Architecture
* Exposure to SAP environments at enterprise scale
* Ability to engage credibly with architects, vendors, and delivery partners
* Understanding of:
* SAP S/4HANA transformation programs
* Manufacturing or asset‐heavy environments (supply chain, procurement, operations)
Nice to Have
* Experience in global organisations grown through acquisition
* Background in governance‐heavy or federated delivery models
* Cloud migration oversight (on‐prem to cloud)
How You'll Work
* Partner closely with senior IT leadership, cyber and risk teams, and portfolio governance
* Influence without direct authority in complex environments
* Work with global delivery partners and regional teams
* Operate calmly and effectively in ambiguity and complexity
