Position: Civil Engineer

Salary: ($90000 per year) + Superannuation
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis at our office located at, Pakenham South, VIC 3810.
As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:
· Analyse survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects.
· Compute load and grade requirements, water flow rates, and material stress factors to determine design specifications.
· Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.
· Managing the planning and design stages of construction projects.
· Contributing technical expertise to project drawings and designs.
· Performing cost calculations and preparing financial projections.
· Direct or participate in surveying to lay out installations and establish reference points, grades, and elevations to guide construction.
· Preparing work schedules in collaboration with the project manager.
· Liaising between contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
· Overseeing construction engineering processes.
· Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs to industrial and managerial personnel.
· Performing regular tests on materials and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
· Ensuring that the construction project is completed on time and within budget.
· Documenting processes and keeping detailed construction logs.
· Presenting construction project progress updates to clients and senior managers.
What we are looking for:
· Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field (mandatory)
· Minimum 1–2 years of relevant work experience as a Civil Engineer or similar role
· Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and standards
· Ability to interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications
· Experience with relevant software/tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, project management tools) preferred
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills
· Flexible and adaptable approach to work demands
