The BMW Service Department, based in the Pickerings Auto Group Dealership located in Townsville City is currently seeking to appoint a new Service Advisor for our BMW team. Service Advisors are highly professional within our dealerships and provide excellent customer service, while supporting their repair and maintenance needs.

Pickerings Automotive Group Townsville represents 14 new vehicle manufacturers including Prestige European brands, niche brand manufacturers and operates two Used Vehicle locations in the city. All underpinned by our Premium Service Advisor Teams across five service departments that represent all our brands plus more. The position:
BMW Service Advisorsare the point of contact between our customers and our workshop. They're entrusted with keeping customers well informed throughout the time of a vehicle being serviced, repaired and maintained, while also working harmoniously and supporting the workshop teams.

For the role you will:
* Provide outstanding customer service by being the point of contact between the customer and the workshop
* Qualify and confirm the booking with the customer, commit to following up and advising the customer throughout the day as required
* Coordinating the customer service bookings, car pick up, cleaning and delivery time
* Confidently communicate to the customer regarding their vehicle
* Accurately record data such as time, expenses and spare parts
* Liaising with the customer on estimated completion times, updates and follow ups as required
* Discussing service and product improvements for our customers
* Dealing with other departments from warranty, administration, spare parts and sales, as required
* Promote a team environment
Our ideal candidate will have with excellent interpersonal skills. This will be coupled with a strong interest in vehicles and understanding of automotive. However, those that display a strong customer focus, are solutions orientated, ability to remain calm in a high pressure environment are encouraged to submit their application.
You will be a problem solver who sees opportunities and tasks in an innovative fashion, and can make the complex seem simple. Working under pressure will be something you thrive on with your time management and prioritisation skills being at an advanced level.
Mandatory skills and experience required to be successful include:
* Experience in a fast-paced customer service background with outstanding customer experience results
* Ability to work in a high-pressure environment, remaining upbeat and positive
* Superior time management skills, priorities, and a commitment to meeting objectives
* Able to handle several duties at once
* Passion for what you do and a desire to succeed
* Works well with others and communicates effectively
* Open QLD Manual Drivers Licence
