We are seeking a highly skilled High Voltage Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will provide technical direction for the Electrical High Voltage department, ensuring operational success and regulatory compliance.
About the Role:
This is a critical leadership position that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and lead a team.
* Provide technical direction to the HV Engineering, Projects and Technical teams.
* Ensure operational success and regulatory compliance across all HV/transmission and distribution assets.
* Lead the development of strategies to optimize HV assets, reduce risks, and improve maintenance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement risk mitigation management strategies to minimize asset-related hazards.
* Manage external contractor services relating to High Voltage assets.
* Achieve ongoing statutory compliance across all HV/transmission and distribution assets.
* Implement condition monitoring, predictive, and preventative maintenance strategies.
About You:
* You have experience in heavy industry and hold an Electrical Trade or Electrical Engineering degree.
* You possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
* You are able to work safely at heights and in confined spaces.
