Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Transport Compliance Officer to support the seamless execution of multi-mode transport movements across Australia and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities:
* Transport Control: Support domestic transport scheduling and supply against network plan and local operations.
* Fulfilment Performance: Support delivery to Group Transport's KPIs, working cross-functionally with GT peers, DC Team & Carriers.
* Business Improvement: Actively engage in designing and implementing new processes, policies, documentation to support operational requirements.
* Transport Compliance: Monitor safe work practices through transport operations, ensuring compliance with company policy, safety standards, legislation and regulatory requirements.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will have a strong background in Transport and Distribution Centre Operations. You must be self-motivated and have excellent time management, planning and organisational skills. Additionally, you should have knowledge of multi-modal freight formats, good understanding of supply and transport planning, strong computer literacy, and good knowledge of National Heavy Vehicle Regulations (NHVR), standards, practices and policies, including Chain of Responsibility (CoR).
