We are seeking a motivated and skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our growing team on the Gold Coast. This role will involve working across a range of commercial and residential HVAC projects, with a strong focus on ductwork fabrication and installation.
You will play a key role in supporting air conditioning installations, ensuring all sheet metal components are accurately measured, fabricated, and installed to a high standard. The position requires someone who is hands-on, reliable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Fabrication and installation of sheet metal ductwork
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
* Measuring, cutting, bending and assembling sheet metal
* Installing HVAC duct systems on commercial and residential sites
* Working alongside air conditioning technicians and trades
* Ensuring all work complies with Australian standards and safety regulations
* Use of hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal machinery
* Assisting with site setup and material preparation
Requirements
* Experience working as a Sheet Metal Worker or in a similar role
* Ability to read and interpret plans
* Experience with ductwork installation (highly desirable)
* White Card (Construction Induction Card)
* Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team
* Full working rights in Australia
