Boston Scientific Executive Territory Manager Neuromodulation Queensland ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for an outstanding Executive Territory Manager for our Neuromodulation (NMD) Deep Brain Stimulation business. Parkinson’s Disease is a movement disorder and affects in excess of two hundred thousand people across Australia, and there are 37 new cases diagnosed each day, making the prevalence of Parkinson’s Disease higher than many cancers.

Boston Scientific designs leading technologies in the treatment of movement disorders including Parkinsons Disease, Essential Tremor and Dystonia, with Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS). Deep Brain stimulation (DBS) is the use of implanted electrical devices to help relieve symptoms. Our sales team is made up of passionate, dedicated professionals, delivering the most advanced medical technologies to patients in need.

By collaborating extensively with leading healthcare professionals you’ll see first-hand the impact you have on individual lives - one patient at a time. The Core objective of this role is to support the Neuromodulation Division with the achievement of sales targets, goals and objectives in the Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) business, with a focus on driving business growth and supporting customers with clinical expertise to enable optimal patient outcomes. This role will report to the Sales and Marketing Manager for Deep Brain Stimulation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

* Develop and execute territory plans to deliver on annual revenue commitments and build a sustainable business over the longer term.
* Attract, define, and develop new business opportunities within the territory that clearly reflect the vision and priorities regarding product usage.
* Build strong relationships with existing customers and driving new business in your assigned territory.
* Plan and develop the market for our existing and new products in line with divisional goals & objectives.
* Attract and develop new customers.
* Successfully completing formal Neuromodulation training program, applying these skills in the field and maintaining high level of technical and market knowledge on an ongoing basis.
* Provide clinical support to patients, clinicians and other HCP’s as required, including intra operative procedural support, patient education, device programming, patient follow up, in-service training for clinical programs.
* Provide technical support to patients, clinicians and other HCP’s as required.
* Collaborate with clinicians and other key stakeholders to increase awareness and penetration of DBS therapy
* Collaborate with third party providers and partners to facilitate comprehensive procedural solutions.
* Work with the broader Neuromodulation team to identify training, research, and engagement opportunities for new and existing customers.
* Support the Sales and Marketing Manager in achieving goals and objectives of DBS.
* Develop effective Field Sales Support by improving processes, developing markets and educating field staff through best-in-class sales programs.
* Demonstrate expert knowledge and insight of competitor strengths, weaknesses and strategies to establish a competitive culture for sales across Australia and

New Zealand.

* Act as a mentor to the DBS Territory Managers and Clinical Specialist
* Established contact person for hospital management, purchasing department and hospital staff as it relates to BSC's DBS business.
* Manage new and existing patient care pathways as it pertains to Boston Scientific’s DBS devices.
* Attending meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required, to promote our products and services.
* Completing market analysis and regular reporting as required.
* To be available to support the broader ANZ NMD business on an as-needs basis.
* Maintain all company assets, including assigned inventory, in good order and in accordance with Boston Scientific’s audit and process requirements.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

* Strong preference for someone with experience in DBS and/or other neurosurgical therapies.
* Exceptional commercial experience with demonstrated achievement of commercial success, especially in medical devices.
* Demonstrated understanding of financial management principles and their impact at a Territory and National level.
* Experience in developing, planning and executing specific sales strategies with demonstrated success.
* Track record of identifying and executing on new business opportunities.
* Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining strong relationships.
* Ability to plan and prioritise a flexible work schedule including regular domestic travel.
* Ability to gain clinical knowledge and expertise quickly.
* Ability to anticipate problems and establish procedures to meet the goals and objectives of the business.
* Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Results focused with a resilient, flexible approach.
* Tertiary education in science or business is desirable.
