This is a rare opportunity to secure a senior leadership position on the Sunshine Coast with a long established and growing fire protection business.
BOSS Fire Protection is a locally owned fire services business with 28 years of operation, delivering fire protection services across the Sunshine Coast, Wide Bay and Brisbane regions.

You will be based from our corporate office, supported by a separate warehouse facility, working within a structured, professional, and well supported operation.
About the Role
This is a hands on leadership role, working closely with the Fire Protection Manager and Business Development Manager, and leading a capable team with great attitudes and a strong team culture.
You will take ownership of estimating across the Dry Fire scope, while also supporting water based fire protection projects from a commercial and scoping perspective. You will play a key role in converting a strong pipeline of opportunities into well planned, well delivered projects.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead estimating and pricing across the Dry Fire scope, including
– Fire detection system upgrades and replacements
– EWIS
– Smoke alarm systems
– Emergency lighting in accordance with AS 2293

• Prepare quotations across all fire protection provisions, aligned with Australian Standards and NCC requirements
• Prepare clear and practical technician scopes of work that set teams up for success on site
• Lead and participate in toolbox meetings, setting the standard for safety, quality, and teamwork
• Work closely with the Fire Protection Manager and Business Development Manager to support water based fire protection projects, providing estimating, scoping, and delivery input
• Influence team performance and culture, supporting technicians through clear communication, technical guidance, and visible leadership
• Partner with the Fire Protection Coordinator to plan, schedule, and sequence works, ensuring projects run smoothly
• Attend meetings with clients, strata managers, QFES representatives, fire designers, and building certifiers
