About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Officer will work closely with the broader Finance team to deliver essential payroll and accounts functions that support NCIG's daily operations. This role has a strong operational focus and is ideal for someone who enjoys accuracy, problem solving and improving processes while working closely with internal stakeholders and building great professional relationships. This is a 15‐month, fixed‐term contract position for the purpose of parental leave.
Key Responsibilities
* End‐to‐end management of payroll, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and legislative compliance.
* Managing accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and reconciliations.
* Monitoring and reconciling bank accounts, debtor and creditor balances.
* Responding to payroll and finance‐related queries in a professional and timely manner.
* Supporting month‐end activities, reconciliations and internal controls.
* Identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation across finance and payroll systems.
* Building effective relationships with internal teams, suppliers and external partners.
About You
You're a detail‐oriented payroll and finance professional who enjoys working in a structured environment and contributing to continuous improvement.
* Demonstrated experience in payroll and accounts payable/receivable roles.
* Strong attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy.
* Confidence using payroll and accounting systems, with solid Excel capability.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business.
* A proactive mindset and ability to problem‐solve and troubleshoot.
* A collaborative, reliable and professional approach.
