About the team
The Strategic Infrastructure Branch is part of the Infrastructure Gold Coast Department. Our team is responsible for delivering the City’s strategic infrastructure program, focusing on ‘City Shaping’ projects that are of significant strategic importance and priority to our community. Key projects include Greenheart, Gold Coast Light Rail, HOTA Lyric Theatre, the Gold Coast Civic and Music Hall, the Nature-Based Tourism Program, and many others.
About The Role
We are looking for a few highly experienced Senior/Project Managers. The positions provide an exciting opportunity for you to bring your expertise in planning, design, and managing key initiatives while working closely with both internal and external stakeholders. Your insights will be instrumental in promoting best practices in design, environmental stewardship, and sustainability, enabling our team to achieve meaningful project outcomes.
You will collaborate with and lead multidisciplinary design consultants to create innovative and imaginative design solutions and focus on developing engaging landscapes and parklands that offer enriching experiences for our community and visitors to our City.Please refer to the Position Brief for detailed information on the position including roles and responsibilities.
We’re Looking For People Who Have
Bachelor Degree of Architecture or equivalent knowledgeBachelor Degree of Landscape Architecture or equivalent knowledgeBachelor Degree of Project Management or equivalent knowledgeDriver licence class C unrestrictedConstruction General Induction White CardTen years of project management experience is desirableBackground in engineering, architecture, landscape architecture or a relevant fieldBackground in construction of large-scale engineering projects is desirableProven track record of developing and implementation of large-scale community infrastructure projectsProven track record in civil, structural and hydraulic engineering (or equivalent)Previous experience working with a diverse group of stakeholders to deliver multifaceted projectsExceptional interpersonal and communication skills ensuring consistency and clarity of advice.Highly developed analytical, problem solving and investigative skills to provide sound advice and options and to function autonomously, as well as part of a high performing teamProven time management, project management and organisational skillsSound Microsoft Office suite skills
