The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to take ownership of all aspects of inventory control, warehousing, and supply coordination. This role is critical in ensuring accurate inventory management, efficient stock control, and smooth operational flow across our business. This role is offered on a 5/2 Monday - Friday Roster FIFO/DIDO basis.
What You'll Be Doing
* Manage inventory levels, bin locations, and stock accuracy in the inventory management system (ERP - Netsuite)
* Coordinate regular cycle counts and full stocktakes
* Investigate and resolve stock count and general inventory variances
* Monitor and fulfil urgent or emergency orders to meet critical operational deadlines
* Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in line with company procedures
* Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to track and manage stock availability
* Liaise with suppliers on deliveries, shortages, and returns
* Oversee freight and logistics for inbound and outbound shipments
* Maintain safe, compliant, and well-organised store and warehouse areas
* Generate monthly inventory and usage reports for management
* Identify and implement improvements to inventory processes and systems
* Travel may be required for this role
What You'll Bring
* Minimum 5 years' experience in an Inventory Controller position (Essential)
* Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Essential)
* Previous experience in mining, heavy industry, or field-based work (highly regarded but not essential)
* Experience in the hydraulics, mining, or industrial services sector (highly regarded but not essential)
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
* A positive, self-motivated attitude with a commitment to safety and teamwork
* Willingness to complete site-specific inductions and medicals as required
* A valid manual driver's licence
