This role involves working to protect the state's environment and heritage. As a Threatened Species Officer, you will be responsible for delivering regional threatened species programs, primarily focused on threatened plants and/or threatened ecological communities.

* Developing skills in GIS, maintaining data in databases, and project reporting-

* Working with a range of partners including private landholders, public land managers, community organisations and volunteers-

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Experience in field-based ecology-

* Developing and implementing threatened species conservation practices-

* Facilitating community education and stakeholder collaboration-

* A degree in Science or a relevant natural resource discipline-

* A valid Australian driver's licence-
