Responsibilities
* Lead, plan, organise, and direct all warehouse operations across the site.
* Drive site performance against KPIs including productivity, cost management, service levels, quality, safety, and profitability.
* Ensure operational teams consistently deliver against customer, site, and people objectives.
* Lead customer onboarding, operational readiness, and ongoing customer retention activities.
* Build strong customer relationships and ensure operational excellence is maintained across all activities.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and service performance.
* Promote a culture of engagement, accountability, and operational excellence across the site.
* Contribute operational expertise to tenders, business proposals, and growth initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements.
* Develop and coach operational leaders, supporting succession planning and capability development.
* Monitor workforce planning, resource allocation, and operational performance to support customer demand.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment across operations, engineering, transport, and customer management functions.
Qualifications
* 7–12 years of experience within Contract Logistics, warehousing, distribution, or supply chain operations.
* Previous experience managing large-scale warehouse operations or multi‐functional logistics environments.
* Proven leadership experience managing operational teams and frontline leaders.
* Strong understanding of warehouse KPIs, productivity management, and operational performance.
* Experience driving continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
* Strong customer‐facing capability with experience managing operational relationships.
* Commercial awareness with exposure to budgeting, cost management, and operational financial performance.
* Strong knowledge of workplace safety, compliance, and quality management standards.
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
* Experience within highly process‐driven, high‐volume operational environments is highly regarded.
