About the role
We are looking for a trade qualified carpenter to join our team on a 2 year maximum term contract on a full-time basis. This position will work across our Central Coast and Lake Macquarie portfolios.
Reporting to the Maintenance Area Supervisor you will take pride in your work by providing a professional and quality standard of repair and installation of building products to our tenants. Working as part of a larger team you will demonstrate a flexible approach to your work by your willingness to undertaking a range of general maintenance tasks including:
* Fixing & Finishing Carpentry
* Roof and ceiling repairs
* Patching & Painting
* Repairing and replacing timber decks, balustrades, steps and pergolas.
* Small Concreting jobs
* Door and window maintenance
* Residential property maintenance
About You
* Trade qualified carpenter or joiner with hands- on experience and an excellent understanding of carpentry techniques
* Ability to read technical documents and drawings
* An eye for detail and the ability to work at a low margin of error
* NSW unrestricted driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
* White card
