Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse Manager (Next Step Services) is responsible for the coordination, leadership, and supervision of staff directly reporting to them.
Responsibilities
Contributes to the development and monitoring of standards of nursing practice, initiating research and quality improvement activities, and implementing changes which benefit service provision as well as provides clinical and professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence-based care is delivered to consumers and coordinates the day-to-day operations.
The Clinical Nurse Manager practices within their scope of practice, considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery Board's Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
