Fresh Produce Manager Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Fresh Produce Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our fresh produce department.
About the Role
As a Fresh Produce Manager, you will have full accountability for maintaining high standards of product quality, ensuring accurate stock rotation and minimizing waste. You will work closely with your team to achieve sales targets, manage costs, and maintain exceptional customer service standards.
About You and Your Skills
* You will have previous experience working in a fast-paced retail environment, preferably in a management or leadership role.
* Direct leadership experience is essential, as you will need to lead, coach, and develop your team to meet sales targets, cost control, and rostering requirements.
* You must be able to maintain excellent department standards, including monitoring stock levels, implementing efficient rotation routines, reducing waste, and ensuring quality control.
* You will drive a one-team culture that celebrates success and prioritizes team members' health, safety, and wellbeing.
* You will possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to motivate and engage your team, while also providing outstanding customer service.
