Location: Melbourne | Casual, part time and Full time Position
CFMEU EBA for Abseil rates will apply to successful candidates for level 2 labour/or trade and Level 3 labour/or trade.
Vertigo are seeking skilled and safety-focused Rope Access Technicians to join our team. If you have a background in remedial works and have trades such as caulking, painting, concrete repairs and glazing with solid rope access experience, we would like to hear from you.
Candidates must have experience in at least one of the following trade areas: caulking, painting, concrete repairs, or glazing.
About Role Description
· Perform skilled rope access techniques to safely reach and carry out tasks at height.
· Execute a range of trade-related activities, including façade inspections, maintenance, repairs, and installations.
· Operate specialized tools and equipment efficiently and safely,
· Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures.
· Thrive in a dynamic work environment.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including daily work logs.
· Commit to ongoing professional development to remain current with industry standards and best practices.
Skills and experience:
· IRATA Level 2 and 3 certified technicians
· Minimum 2 years of rope access experience
· Minimum 2+ years of trade experience required in caulking, painting, concrete repairs, or glazing.
· Possession of additional safety Licence and certifications, including but not limited to Confined Spaces EWP licence is considered beneficial.
· Industry Construction white card
· Current Australian driver's license
· High understanding of rope access techniques, safety procedures, and equipment
· Abilities for strategic thinking, objective evaluation and problem solving.
· A proven history of delivering work safely and efficiently at heights
· Ability to work well in a team environment and articulate effective communication skills
· Always upholding a safe environment and compliant worksite
