Acu-Tech Piping Systems is a trusted name in the manufacturing and extrusion of polyethylene (PE) piping systems used across critical infrastructure and industrial projects Australia-wide. As we continue to expand in the region, we have a vacancy available at our manufacturing facility in Redbank QLD.
We are currently looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Electrician to join our Redbank team. This role is critical in ensuring the ongoing reliability and efficiency of our plant and equipment, helping minimise downtime, waste, and loss of productivity—while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance in line with scheduled requirements.
Deliver planned maintenance activities and participate in shutdowns.
Assist with installation and commissioning of plant equipment, treatment facilities, and site infrastructure.
Work collaboratively with the Maintenance Scheduler to execute work orders efficiently and attend daily pre-start meetings.
Communicate any issues that may impact maintenance schedules or productivity.
Identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical faults and equipment malfunctions.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs, including recording system changes and equipment updates.
Analyse and document testing outcomes in collaboration with the Maintenance Scheduler and General Manager.
Ensure all plant and equipment are maintained to company standards at all times.
Undertake additional maintenance-related duties in line with company policies and operational requirements.
About You
Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing industry.
Electrical Trade Qualifications and Queensland Unrestricted Electrical License.
Test and Tag certification.
HRWL - Forklift, EWP and Working in Confined Space (desirable).
Queensland Electrical Contractor License is a plus but not essential.
Understanding of safety systems and processes including risk assessments, incident reporting and planned inspections as per Queensland requirements.
Ability to read and interpret complex technical manuals and systems.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
