About The Opportunity
Assist allocated team with general labouring, preparation, and cleaning tasks within a shipyard environment as directed by immediate Leading Hand/Supervisor.
What's Involved
* Participate in Confined Space Entry, Sentry, and Fire Sentry duties.
* Assist tradespeople when required.
* Assist in all aspects of the docking evolution.
* Understand, embrace, implement, and comply with all Austal Policies and Procedures related to HSEQ.
* Hold self and workmates accountable to HSEQ standards.
* Ensuring good housekeeping is practiced.
* Holding self and others accountable to the standards.
* Improving the standard.
* Waste - Reduce waste in all its forms.
You'll Need
Essential
* Current Drivers licence.
* Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
* Capable of performing work in a safe and acceptable manner.
* Ability to use standard tools.
* Possess good time management skills and ability to meet targets set by the supervisor.
Desirable
* Forklift licence
* EWP + 11m.
* Working at Heights.
* Confined Space.
* Work in accordance with an issued permit.
* Demonstrate First Attack Fire Fighting Equipment.
* 1 year experience in general labouring.
* 1 year experience in Confined Space Entry Sentry and Fire Sentry.
