Our client is a well-established Tier 2 multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with a busy and growing Vertical Transportation (VT) team in Brisbane.
If you are currently working as a Lift Engineer, Elevator Engineer or Vertical Transportation Engineer, this role offers the opportunity to work on major building projects across Queensland, including hospitals, large-scale infrastructure and Olympic-related developments.
The Role
Working as part of a busy local VT team, you will be involved in:
* Lift and escalator traffic analysis and concept design
* Preparing VT design briefs and specifications
* Coordinating with architects, developers and project teams
* Supporting projects from early concept through tender and delivery
* Documentation and layouts using AutoCAD and BIM tools
Projects include major hospitals, large-scale infrastructure, commercial towers, residential developments and Olympic-related work.
The Ideal Candidate
This role would suit someone with vertical transportation or lift engineering experience, either from a consulting environment or from the lift manufacturing / OEM side of the industry.
You may have experience in:
* Vertical transportation consulting within a building services firm
* Lift or escalator engineering with manufacturers such as KONE, Otis, Schindler or TK Elevator
* Knowledge of NCC, AS1735 and lift design standards
* Working with architects, developers and multidisciplinary engineering teams
* AutoCAD experience (Revit/BIM exposure beneficial)
This is an excellent opportunity for a Lift Engineer / VT Engineer looking to work on landmark projects in a collaborative Tier 2 consultancy environment.
This opportunity may also suit Mechanical Engineers, Building Services Engineers or Lift Design Engineers who have experience working with vertical transportation systems including lifts, elevators or escalators.
