We are looking to engage a skilled and enthusiastic
Digital Accessibility Specialist to join our Federal Government client!
The Digital Accessibility Specialist supports the design and development of existing and future digital products and systems in the Office of the CIO. Some of their work provides opportunities to dive deeply into complex problems while other initiatives require them to work quickly to deliver quality products in very tight timeframes. With your previous experience creating accessible products and a good understanding of WCAG guidelines, this will help you excel in this position.

Duties will include:
Helping develop examples of components to evaluate and demonstrate accessibility requirements to development.
Review screen design and collaborate with designers to identify potential accessibility issues
Provide, accurate and timely advice about digital accessibility and assistive technologies to stakeholders across NDIA
Contributing to the design and delivery of the NDIS design system
Collaborate with BA's and product teams to include accessibility requirements in user story development
Assist developers in understanding and implementing accessibility requirements
