To support our success and recent growth, Sedgman is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in Brisbane.
* Detailed concrete and steel design, including interaction with Drafters to produce models and documentation in line with QA Compliance
* Concept studies, including estimating quantities and preliminary designs
* Assist with construction enquiries, including safe lifting and erection
* Interface with other Engineering disciplines, including Electrical, Process and Mechanical
* Focus on technical innovation and continuous improvement
* Office based position in Brisbane with short term site visits required
What are we looking for?
* Bachelor of civil (structural) engineering
* A strong desire and willingness to develop a career within the Metals and Minerals processing industry
* At least 2-3 years experience as a Structural Engineer in design, consultancy or operational environment.
* Previous Minerals or Metals industry experience would be highly regarded
* Ability to safely and effectively self-manage time, priorities and activities
* Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
