Personal Support Worker

About the Role
As a personal support worker, you will directly be supporting our clients who have acquired spinal cord injuries daily tasks in our clients' homes.
* Assisting clients with transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists when required.
* Grooming, bathing, dressing and dental hygiene.
* Personal care, including toileting, bladder and bowel management.
* Basic wound care and self-medication.
* Domestic support such as meal preparation, light household duties and laundry.
* Community access such as driving to appointments and social activities
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Experience in disability or aged chare, whilst regarded, is not a requirement for the role - full training provided.
* A valid Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle is required
* A smartphone device
* Hold, or willing to obtain, NDIS Workers Screening Card and Blue Card
* NDIS Workers Orientation Module
