About the role
This full-time Administration Assistant role is a fantastic opportunity to join the team at Synergy Accountants and Estate Planners' in Mackay, Queensland. As an integral member of the administrative support team, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of the office and providing high-quality assistance to our professional services team.
What you'll be doing
* Providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support, such as managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings
* Maintaining and updating client records, files, and databases with accuracy and attention to detail
* Assisting with the preparation of client documentation, including reports and presentations
* Handling incoming phone calls, emails, and visitor enquiries in a friendly and professional manner
* Supporting the broader team with various administrative tasks as required
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar office support role
* Minimum 3-5 years of administrative assistant experience is required for this position
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused approach
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
* The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently when required
* Australian work rights are required for this position
