**The opportunity**
Our client is a community focused federal government agency. They have an exciting opportunity available for a Project & Change Officer to join the Delivery & Change Branch in deploying specialist project management and change management resources to drive implementation of priority initiatives for the Agency.
12-month initial Labour Hire contract with the view for extension. APS6 level role offering an hourly rate of $60.26 hourly + Super, this position will be based out of Richmond.
This is a hybrid position, offering 2 days working from home with the remaining 3 on site. Standard 37.5-hour work weeks, with an average of 8 hours per days.
**About the role**:
The APS6 Project and Change Officer is a team membership position that may be required to perform work that involves team leadership and management responsibilities requiring the setting of priorities and managing workflows of a team.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Maintaining project documents including; reporting dashboards and databases, registers, document management, updating and version control of project delivery framework tools and templates, document accessibility and action item logs
- Maintaining project and plan schedules (or KANBAN boards), monitoring deadlines for each task and reporting any identified and/or potential delays to the Branch leadership
- Monitoring and managing DCO and PCG communication channels such as: Community of Practice, Intranet, Mailboxes and SharePoint
- Leading and supporting special projects as they arise and support continuous improvement activities as they arise within the team
- Assisting in maintaining an Agency-wide view of Changes through the Forward View of Change which assists senior leaders in planning, sequencing and prioritising changes affecting staff and/or participants, partners and other stakeholders
- Coordinating input to produce relevant, timely and accurate reports and ensuring branch reporting activities adhere to Agency standards and frameworks
**About you**
- **Australian citizenship is a requirement to be eligible for this position**:
- Background within Disability, Aged Care or Federal Government highly advantageous
- Prior experience within Project based environments
- Knowledge of change management principles
- Highly competent with MS Office Suite
- Experienced working towards tight deadlines
