**The Business**

They have a deep technical background and have the resources in place to deliver cutting edge solutions. Importantly they have invested in enough talent to ensure their sales teams are adequately supported to close new business as well to support their existing customers.
**The Role**
As a Business Development Manager - Defence you'll be working as part of the dedicated account team and be specifically focussing on CIOG at Defence. The role will be responsible for identifying new opportunities where the business can add further value, while at the same time, contributing to efforts of securing and shoring up the existing business and services they provide.
You will achieve this by:
- Forging strong relationships with senior leaders and key influences. 
- Identifying and evaluating opportunities to role out managed network, security and cyber as well as private 5G to meet the ongoing needs within Defence 
- Contributing and coordinating tenders and contract negotiations

The value and high level design of complex security solutions are understood because you explain them in human terms. You know how to relate to senior leaders and orchestrate big deals.
**Required Experience** 
- Extensive and proven new business development experience as well as account management experience 
- A consultative selling approach 
- Strong relation building skills and a desire to provide an outstanding customer experience 
- A deep network of contacts and previous customers within the within Defence, ideally CIOG 
- Sold complex security solutions - ideally in Cyber Intelligence and Analytics, Critical Infrastructure, Global Managed Security Services, Threat and Risk Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, Identity and Access Management, Governance Risk and Compliance, or Security & Network Architecture. Ideally, managed solutions within the Australian Federal Government 
- Ideally Australian government security clearance (NV-2 would be ideal, but would consider NV-1 as well).
**Salary Package**
Base of $240-260k + 11% Super + approx $166k Commission = $470k OTE
Note: Commission is uncapped and there are accelerators available.
