The Role
The Construction Supervisor role is primarily responsible for coordinating day to day operations of the Darwin Construction team, with primary focus on the Manufacturing/Production area.
Key areas of responsibility may include:
- Provide proactive and thorough communication and guidance for the team on daily, weekly and upcoming jobs
- Coordinate rostering, and partner with the Construction Coordinator to manage team members leave requests
- Coordination, and onsite management of any subcontractors engaged to work in Darwin Yards
- Partner with the HSEQ team to monitor and action any HSEQ requirements within the Construction team
- Manage the day to day performance of the Darwin Construction team, with strong focus on quality assurance, upskilling the team and creating efficiencies in work
Some work from home may be required at times, however, this role will primarily be based in the Darwin yards, with core hours delivered Monday to Friday
About You
Candidates must hold a White Card certification, an Australian Drivers Licence, and ideally a High Risk Forklift licence.
Ideally, candidates will have trade background in Carpentry, combined with 1–2 years experience supervising transportable building, residential or commercial building works.
Candidates would preferably have worked experience using Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams, as well as operational exposure to using Safety systems/platforms and or Asset Management systems.
Suitable candidates may be required to undergo pre‑employment assessments, inclusive of National Police Check and Pre‑employment Medical and must be able to adhere to the organisations’ Drug and Alcohol, Fitness for Work and Vehicle Policies
