Structural Analysis Professional
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced structural analysis professional to join our team and contribute to the development of next-generation vehicles. As a key member of our vehicle engineering team, you will be responsible for developing reusable launch vehicles and spacecraft that will enable humans to reach the moon, Mars, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform structural analysis on primary structures using commercial FEA or multi-physics simulation packages.
* Develop and implement advanced analytical techniques to improve vehicle performance and safety.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative solutions.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in structural analysis, experience with commercial FEA or multi-physics simulation packages, and excellent communication skills. You should also have a Bachelor's degree in an engineering, math, or physics discipline and 5+ years of professional experience in structural analysis.
Preferred Skills:
* Master's degree or PhD in an engineering, math, or physics discipline.
* Experience performing structural analysis on primary structures.
* Proficiency with FEA solvers such as ABAQUS, ANSYS, or Nastran.
* Advanced proficiency with pre/post-processors such as ABAQUS/CAE, ANSA/META, ANSYS, or FEMAP.
* Familiarity with material, geometric, and contact nonlinear analyses.
