The Role & Responsibilities:
As a Council Services Manager, you will lead municipal and community services in remote locations, ensuring operational excellence and fostering community connections. This hands-on leadership role requires adaptability, resilience, and a commitment to creating meaningful impact.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing municipal and community services such as waste management, community events, and night patrols.
* Mentoring and developing a diverse team, fostering professional growth and a positive workplace culture.
* Building partnerships with local schools, health clinics, and organizations to enhance community outcomes.
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and managing budgets effectively.
* Promoting environmental sustainability and best practices.
* Coordinating resources to meet community needs.
* Inspecting public spaces and driving improvement initiatives within the community.
