Against this background, a leading engineering consultancy is looking to expand its civil design capabilities and meet demand across large scale subdivisions, stormwater network and key road and utility corridors.
They are now seeking a Civil Designer with 12D and AutoCAD capability. Someone who understands earthworks, lots, stormwater behaviour and the concepts of infrastructure delivery.
About the role:
This position sits at the core of the design function, supporting subdivision, residential, commercial and mixed use projects. You'll drive 12D and AutoCAD modelling, prepare high quality design documentation, and ensure outputs align with relevant standards, authority criteria, and project delivery milestones.
The role and its key tasks:
* Subdivision and lot layout design
* Stormwater drainage modelling and documentation
* Road and Civil infrastructure design (including main road alignments)
* Water and wastewater reticulation design
* Coordination with engineersand project teams to ensure design cohesion and delivery efficiency.
Operating in a shared and connected environment with direct access to senior designers, engineers, drafters who focus on technical development and knowledge transfer.
About you and your impact:
* Associates Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
* 3+ years experience in subdivision or broader land development projects
* Strong understanding of Local Government Areas around South East Queensland and their standards
* Strong technical understanding in stormwater, road infrastructure, and water/wastewater design
* Proficient in 12D and AutoCAD (Civil 3D exposure welcome but not essential)
* Commitment to quality and ongoing improvement
