Indigeco is supporting a well-known workplace products distribution company in sourcing an Account Manager to join their sales team.

About the Role
The Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships across an assigned portfolio of customers. The role focuses on delivering value to clients through tailored account strategies, data-driven insights, and a strong understanding of the organisation's products, systems, and services.
Working closely with internal teams, the Account Manager will manage the full customer lifecycle and identify opportunities to grow revenue, strengthen partnerships, and improve customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the retention and profitability of customer contracts
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organisations
* Develop customer development plans aligned with the company strategy
* Manage all aspects of sales activity and the customer lifecycle
* Identify opportunities to grow the share of wallet within the assigned territory
* Maintain strong knowledge of industry products, systems, and value propositions
* Use customer and financial data insights to support strategic account management
* Demonstrate commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies and practices
Key Requirements
* Experience working in a B2B sales or account management environment
* Demonstrated success in achieving sales or revenue targets
* Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Experience using systems such as Excel, SAP, Salesforce, or similar CRM tools
* Ability to analyse customer and financial data to support commercial decisions
* Strong consultative selling capability and relationship management skills
* Team-oriented mindset with high levels of accountability and adaptability
