Key Responsibilities Financial Operations
* Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial statements, and variance analysis
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
* Maintain general ledger accuracy, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
* Assist with end‐of‐month and end‐of‐year close processes
Accounts & Controls
* Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable processes, including supplier payments and guest invoicing
* Monitor payroll processing, compliance, and reconciliations
* Ensure strong internal controls across revenue, expenses, inventory, and cash handling
* Support audits and liaise with external auditors as required
Hospitality & Operational Finance
* Work closely with department heads (Front Office, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Tours) to monitor costs and improve financial performance
* Assist with stock control, inventory counts, and cost of goods analysis
* Review revenue streams including accommodation, F&B, tours, and retail
Compliance & Reporting
* Ensure compliance with taxation, statutory, and regulatory requirements
* Assist with BAS, GST, and other reporting obligations
* Support continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and reporting tools
Qualifications
* Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
* CPA or CA qualification (or working towards) highly regarded
* Minimum 3–5 years' experience in an accounting or finance role
* Experience in hospitality, tourism, or multi‐site operations is highly desirable
* Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
* Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
* High level of attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‐paced environment
* Comfortable living and working onsite in a remote location
