**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team. As an Italian cuisine specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items in accordance with high standards and customer expectations.
Main Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook menu items consistently to meet restaurant standards and customer expectations
* Season, portion, and present food to maintain quality
* Assist with preparing ingredients and ensuring mise en place is ready for service
* Monitor cooking processes and maintain consistency across dishes
* Check freshness of ingredients and ensure proper storage and stock rotation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:
* At least 2 years' experience in a commercial kitchen environment
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)
* Practical knowledge of Italian cuisine and ability to cook a variety of dishes
* Competence in food handling, storage, and kitchen safety procedures
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team
* Good communication skills and attention to detail
