About the role
As a Landscaper at Everything Outside, you will be responsible for transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful school playgrounds.
Based in South East Queensland, this full-time role will see you working as part of a team to build bespoke and exciting school playgrounds.
What you'll be doing
1. Under the instruction of an Operations Manager and Foreman, you will prepare sites for landscaping and playground construction eg. erect temporary fencing, dig out sites, install road base etc.
2. Working within a team, you will landscape playground sites including the construction of dry river beds, installing irrigation systems, planting and other landscaping elements.
3. You will work towards construction deadlines and have a safety-first approach to tasks.
What we're looking for
1. At least one year's experience in landscaping
2. Immediate start
3. Proficient in the use of landscaping tools and machinery
4. An enthusiastic and proactive team member who is solutions focussed
5. Excellent knowledge of plants, garden design principles, and landscape construction techniques
6. Ability to commute to sites and stay away from home for regional projects
7. A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
8. A LR (low rigid) licence is preferred but not essential
9. Must have a Blue Card (working with children check) or be willing to apply for one
10. Must be eligible to work in Australia
11. Certificate in landscaping qualification is required
